Nikhil Kunduvalappil is the Principal Engineer and Co-Founder of Spark Engineering Ltd., bringing over 14 years of professional experience in mechanical building systems design, construction coordination, and project delivery across Canada and internationally.
Holding a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia, Nikhil has established a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, energy systems, and specialized commercial kitchen ventilation. His project portfolio spans commercial developments, high-rise residential towers, building retrofits, and technically demanding make-up air and pollution control systems.
Throughout his career, Nikhil has led every stage of project delivery—from initial feasibility and load calculations to detailed design, equipment selection, tender documentation, site inspections, and construction administration. His extensive field experience ensures his designs are not only code-compliant and energy-efficient, but also practical and constructible.
Prior to co-founding Spark Engineering Ltd., Nikhil worked with leading multidisciplinary firms in British Columbia and gained valuable international project management experience in the Middle East. There, he directed the design and execution of complex ventilation and environmental systems for commercial kitchens, industrial facilities, and high-rise developments. This background provides him with a global perspective backed by deep local BC building code expertise.
Known for his calm, analytical approach, Nikhil collaborates seamlessly with architects, contractors, developers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). He advocates for engineering that delivers long-term value—balancing energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, constructability, and cost control

Her career spans complex residential, commercial, and industrial developments, where she consistently delivers technical precision, rigorous cost control, and high-standard project execution.
Anjaly’s background includes key leadership roles in construction cost estimating, project engineering, and quality control across Canada and internationally. She has prepared and managed comprehensive estimates for multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure accuracy, financial efficiency, and regulatory compliance throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.
Anjaly holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from India and completed specialized post-graduate credentials in Construction Estimating at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT)—blending a strong theoretical design foundation with modern North American cost-management practices.

Siva’s distinct strength lies in bridging advanced engineering analysis with practical field experience. Having spent two years working directly as an HVAC mechanic in Vancouver, he brings hands-on experience supervising complex mechanical installations, managing inventory, and translating design specifications into buildable systems.
